Togethër Meets Pattaya City to Discuss “Pattaya Togethër” Platform for High-Value Tourism and Evidence-Based City Management

PATTAYA, Thailand — 27 January 2026 — Togethër participated in an official meeting with Pattaya City to discuss collaboration on the “Pattaya Togethër” initiative — a city-level integrated tourism and service platform designed to strengthen the digital economy, support High-Value Tourism, and enable evidence-based city management.

The meeting took place at 13:30 hrs in Room 132, Pattaya City Hall, hosted by Mr. Prameswar Ngamphichet, Mayor of Pattaya, together with Mr. Bhumipipat Kamonnath, Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya. The Pattaya Together project team was represented by Dr. Thammarat Khiawkaew, King of Diplomatic Mission Peace & Prosperity (DMPP) and United Nations Peace Ambassador (U.N. Peace Ambassador), alongside key partners and stakeholders. Representatives from the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, including Mr. Skon Phol Lukin, Vice President of the organization, and provincial administrative members, were also present.

Meeting Highlights: Who We Met and What Was Discussed

The discussion focused on how Pattaya Together can serve as a central platform mechanism connecting tourists, local operators, and the city — allowing tourism services and city management outcomes to be measured and improved through structured collaboration.

Key topics discussed included:

  • Building a city-level platform that supports High-Value Tourism and sustainable development

  • Improving coordination between public sector, private sector, entrepreneurs, communities, and the creative economy

  • Using tourism and city activity insights to support Data-Driven Cities and evidence-based decisions

  • Enabling measurable outcomes such as revenue generation, distribution, and service standards improvement

A Shared Vision for a Smarter and More Connected Pattaya

Pattaya is one of Thailand’s most important tourism destinations, with strong potential in tourism, events, culture, and creative industries. However, the current urban economic structure faces challenges in linking entrepreneurs, data, and digital platforms in a way that produces measurable impact.

Through Pattaya Together, the goal is to establish a clear “city central mechanism” — a platform that connects all stakeholders while strengthening tourism readiness, improving service quality, and enabling long-term planning. This approach aims to lift Pattaya’s image as a City of Innovation and Creative Economy at both national and international levels, while also supporting qualitative economic growth that benefits the broader ecosystem.

Sandbox Pilot Proposal to Enable Real Implementation

To move toward action, the Pattaya Together committee discussed initiating a Sandbox Pilot that will validate platform operations and establish performance indicators. The pilot is intended to cover the full tourism ecosystem — from services to activities — while creating a clear framework for measurable outcomes.

The Sandbox Pilot is proposed to include:

  • Eat–Travel–Stay–Activities–Events coverage

  • A shared data framework for insights and reporting

  • Working collaboration between pilot operators and relevant agencies

  • City-ready indicators to track performance and success

This step is designed to demonstrate real implementation and support medium- and long-term planning for tourism development and urban management.

Pattaya City’s Support and the Next Steps Ahead

Mayor Prameswar Ngamphichet shared that such collaborative digital initiatives could benefit Pattaya’s tourism sector and overall economy. While Pattaya City cannot provide budget support due to government regulations, the city welcomed the initiative and expressed readiness to support within its authority — particularly through public awareness, coordination, and facilitating cross-agency cooperation.

Moving forward, the project committee intends to request Pattaya’s cooperation in appointing a working committee to drive next-stage implementation. Upcoming actions include confirming key success indicators, approving the Sandbox Pilot plan, coordinating relevant agencies for real operations, and preparing public performance reports to strengthen cooperation and policy development.
